About Smarti
|
|
- Situated in the heart of Korangi industrial area, Karachi
- Was established in 1996 and started functioning in 1998.
- Was established by Towel Manufacturer’s Association (TMA) in collaboration with Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) now Trade Development authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Government of Pakistan. Now under administrative control of Ministry of Textile Industries, Government of Pakistan.
- Started 2-years Specialized Diploma course in Textile Weaving and Wet-Processing Technologies affiliated with SBTE (Sindh Board of Technical Education) in 1998.
- Started 3-year DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer’s) course in Textile Weaving and Dyeing & Printing Technologies affiliated with SBTE in 2004.
- Recently started 3-year DAE (Diploma of Associate Engineer’s) course in Chemical Technology and Mechanical Technology affiliated with SBTE.
